Rule 16.2—Dismissal from service on account of involvement in criminal case—Entitlement to pension—Claim of petitioner that the Disciplinary Authority while passing order of dismissal was bound to consider the length of service and petitioner’s entitlement of pension—An employee who is dismissed from service is not entitled to pension, though, he can claim compassionate allowance under Rule 2.5 of the Punjab Civil Service Rules, 1934—Petition dismissed.
