Sections 22 & 29—Recovery of 12 strips of intoxicant tablets i.e. Alprazolam—Reduction of sentence—FIR was lodged in 2018 and appellant has been suffering the agony of trial since last about 07 years—Since his conviction, the appellant has grown into a law-abiding citizen and desires to live a peaceful life—As per his custody certificate, the appellant is not involved in any other case and has undergone actual sentence of 02 months and 17 days, out of total sentence of six months—Sentence awarded to appellant is reduced to the period already undergone by him—Appeal allowed in part.
