Article 226—Writ—Prayer for taking disciplinary proceedings against respondent-advocate of opposite party—Submission that respondent-advocate has leveled various threats against petitioner and has also interacted in whatsapp communication with him on behalf of opposite party—WhatsApp communication and exchange of messages, which have been placed on record show that there is continuous communication between them—Content of messages, if correct, show that there has been monetary demands by respondent-advocate from petitioner—Respondent-advocate ought not to have been entering into such communication with opposing party - that too in such an improper and impermissible manner—Allegations raised in writ petition directed to be treated as complaint by petitioner against respondent-advocate before the BCD and Bar Council directed to examine the allegations.

Article 226—Writ—Prays for an enquiry to be conducted in respect of the role being played by various doctors of the Department of Forensic Medicine, MAMC—Case of petitioner that there are various factions within the Department, who are indulging in activities, which are impeding the functioning of the department—Department of Forensic Medicine ought to function in an efficient manner in the larger interest of public and patients—Such disputes between doctors is detrimental to the interest of the hospital itself and cannot be permitted to continue unabatedly—Officiating Dean, MAMC directed to interact with all the doctors in the Forensic Medicine department and make enquiries.

Article 226—Writ—Prayer for cancellation of bar license—Ground on which cancellation is sought is that since the doctor/advocate is working in the Department of Forensic Medicine, MAMC and is earning salary from there, his license to practice as an advocate ought to be suspended/cancelled—Petition for relief filed by advocate/doctor before the Apex Court and he has also filed an interim application for stay on all proceedings before the Apex Court—Matter listed for next hearing.
