Section 302—Murder—Conviction—Deceased was last seen alive with the appellant/accused and JCLs and died soon thereafter—Injuries reflected in post-mortem report corroborate the oral testimony of prosecution witness who stated that deceased had injuries on his face and head etc.—Appellant/accused took a false plea of alibi at a belated stage on an after-thought—An adverse inference can be drawn against the appellant/accused—Scientific evidence further connects the appellant/accused to the crime—As per evidence on record, chain of circumstances connect the appellant/accused to the crime unerringly pointing towards his guilt—Failure of appellant/accused to demonstrate any illegally or infirmity in the impugned judgment—Conviction upheld.
