Section 506—Criminal intimidation—Proof—A mere threat to any person cannot be brought under the purview of the offence under Section 506 IPC, unless the same is in reference to cause alarm or to do any act, as a means of avoiding the execution of such threat—Unless there is an intent, or for the purpose to cause alarm to the person threatened to do any act which he is not legally bound to do, or omit to do an act which he is legally entitled to do, there cannot be criminal intimidation—Conviction set aside.
