Section 24—Grant of interim maintenance of rupees twenty thousand per month to the wife—Appeal—It is undisputed that appellant has suffered physical disability in his leg, however, it cannot be presumed that he is not earning at all—Appellant has placed on record ITRs, Bank Statements and Statement of Profit and Loss Account in respect of his father’s account/business, which shows he has access to his father’s business and is involved in it—Appellant, who is the only son, living with his parents and due to separation; the respondent has been forced to live with her parents—Family Court has rightly awarded maintenance of rupees twenty thousand per month to the respondent to enable her to meet her routine requirements—Impugned order warrants no interference—Appeal dismissed.
